Kate Belbeck

Market Manager

Operating her own family-run farming business, Kate has experience in many facets of the agriculture industry, from managing herd health and livestock breeding programs to growing and producing her own foods. She took on the Market Manager's role in 2019, and has been committed to helping the market and its vendors thrive ever since. Dedicated to the preservation of a once near extinct breed of pigs, she also sits on the board for the American Kune Kune Pig Society.

Jayme Mast

President & Treasurer

Joining the Board of Directors in 2018, Jayme brought new energy to the team with a goal of boosting community engagement through digital platforms and special events. She later took on treasury duties (2019), followed by the President's role (2020). Jayme has a keen interest in making practical swaps to lead a more sustainable, eco-friendly lifestyle, and she looks forward to the generations-old family tradition of making handcrafted maple syrup each year.

Secretary

A lifelong advocate of small businesses and local food, Cathy was one of the founding members of the Aberfoyle Farmers' Market. With an extensive background in the prepared foods industry, Cathy's knowledge, experience and network of community partners have been invaluable to the growth of the market.

Allison Bureau

Board Member

With a genuine desire to invest in her community, Allison began volunteering with the market in 2017, bringing with her a wealth of experience in community relations, marketing and business to further diversify the skillsets of the market's organizing committee. A lover of all animals and fresh, local food, she keeps a small flock of backyard chickens for a steady supply of farm-fresh eggs.

Sean Manzi

Board Member

Sean discovered the market shortly after moving to the area, and it quickly became a staple in his Saturday morning routine. As a craftsman himself, he has a deep appreciation for the quality and attention to detail that can be found in locally handcrafted goods.

Chris Monk

Board Member

Chris has been an avid visitor & busker at the market since the very beginning! He regularly visits markets across the GTA, but the welcoming atmosphere in Aberfoyle quickly became one of his favourites. Always willing to lend a hand, Chris joined the board in 2020 to take on a more active role in the planning & growth of the market.

The Aberfoyle Farmers' Market has always been near and dear to the Stevenson family, with the entire family helping out over the years in various capacities from Market Manager to President and even Youth Ambassador.
