The Aberfoyle Farmers’ Market is a volunteer run organization, incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in 2010.

There are many ways you can help support the continuing success of this community run market.

VOLUNTEER!

Bring the Aberfoyle Farmers’ Market to life by helping to set up or take down each market day or organize and run our special events. This is a great opportunity for high-school students looking to fulfill their volunteer hours.

For those looking to contribute in a different capacity, please inquire about openings on our volunteer Board of Directors. Fresh ideas and new skillsets are always welcome and appreciated as we continually look for ways to improve the market, expand our reach, and continue to meet the demand of local residents for farm-fresh and local goods.

For more information, please contact us by email.

BECOME A VENDOR!

We are always looking for a variety of vendors to join our family of market vendors! We accept farm, food and handmade vendors, and appreciate any opportunity to connect with local small businesses throughout the region and surrounding areas. Average foot traffic at our market ranges from 500-600 visitors per week, although we have exceeded 2,000 visitors on special event days. We accept full-time, part-time and occasional vendors across a number of product categories and are always looking to expand our vendor roster with new and unique products. As a community-run market, our rates continue to remain as some of the lowest in the area for comparable vendor events, while still offering valuable exposure for registered vendors through print & digital advertisements, as well as other subsidized programs organized by the market committee and community partners.

We'd love to hear from you! Submit your vendor application here.

DONATE!

We gratefully accept donations of supplies & equipment, advertising exposure, and financial contributions to help improve the market for everyone. As a registered not-for-profit organization, the market is made possible by a small group of community-minded volunteers with limited funding in the form of community grants from local government. If you wish to contribute, please contact us by email.

In light of the recent changes to our seasonal operating dates and times, one of our biggest needs for the 2024 market season is new signage and marketing materials, such as weather-resistant banners, roadside signs, mailers and other print materials.

Monetary donations provide the most flexibility as we continue to adapt and rebuild the market in a post-pandemic economy. Cheques can be made payable the Aberfoyle Farmers' Market Association.

Thank you so much for your support!

Please note: the Aberfoyle Farmers’ Market Association is not a registered charity and cannot provide receipts for income tax purposes.
