The Aberfoyle Farmers’ Market is a LOCAL only, SEASONAL farmers’ market located in the heart of Puslinch. Established as a local gateway for farm-fresh foods, homemade goods and handmade crafts in 2011, the Aberfoyle Farmers' Market continues to serve as a vibrant community hub for residents and visitors alike.

Hailed as one of the best farmers' markets in Canada, our market not only provides direct access to fresh, nutritious foods and quality, handcrafted goods, but it also offers visitors the opportunity to support a number of different small businesses from within our community and surrounding regions. 

 

Available produce is based on the Ontario growing season and is grown within mere kilometres of the market. Each vendor at the Aberfoyle Farmers' Market is provided with our signature 'distance sign' to display at their booth, indicating the distance their products have travelled to get to market. You won’t find lemons and other “tropical” food at our market, but you will find food grown by local farmers and their families. We encourage shoppers to talk to the producers and get to know their local farmers.

Every farmer, crafter, baker, or chef that applies to our market is vetted by our experienced team of volunteers. Farms, kitchens, and craft studios are reviewed for authenticity to ensure everything brought to the market is grown, made, or prepared by the vendor. In order to fill product gaps, vendors are permitted to complement their offerings with a small number of products that are not made or grown by them. Our dedicated team of volunteers juries each new product on a case-by-case basis, making every effort to limit product overlap within the market and provide an impressive selection of local goods for visitors to shop from. Our jurying process is our way of guaranteeing that our market is TRULY local.
